Javascript Links OK for SEO

Hi,

I am about to launch a site and it has a glossary section, which is just a clever ploy to get a huge amount of keywords on the site, some great content and a valuable amount of pages related to what I do.

However, I have been advised to use javascript links for these because it means the glossary item (which is weaved in the main content with a link to it) will pop up using this swish window that makes it look almost like flash and dims the rest of the screen etc.

Can Google and the other search engines still interpret this as a normal link and those give me thumbs up for good internal linking?

Thanks in advance,

Misch

No search engine spiders completely ignore Javascripts as they are designed to work with users browsers and NOT the actual web page which gives the spiders information, so that's why I think google as well as others engines ignore it completely.
