I have outsourced seo and guest blogging for my site.

I have also emailed blogs on technorati for solo ads and waiting for them to respond.

What else can I do to get more traffic to my site?

Can safe-swaps.com do well for the investing, finance niche?

Outsourcing things doesn't mean it's going to get you more traffic. It just means you don't have to focus on it. Care to share your site? Perhaps it'll give us a better understanding of what we're talking about here.

I have got the email autoresponder set up with messages and promotions in the finance niche lined up for about a year. The site itself has over 110 articles (long tailed at base, major keywords at the left sidebar) on it, but no backlinks totally to it yet.

The autoresponder sequence is set up with enough messages for a year, and there's a freebie on it for signing up. Using popup domination and tell a friend script for it.

I am also in the process of setting up short videos (fiverr videos) on the key pages (signup page, tell a friend page, review pages) to increase conversions.

The seo (first page within 90 days and guarantee at 7 out of 15 keywords chosen) is set up for the keywords on the left sidebar of the page, a total of 15 keywords to be focused on for seo, and the 15 keywords are from the left sidebar.

Guest blogging is to focus on the home page and the autoresponder invite page.

How can I increase traffic or conversions to my affiliate site?

      Thanks

You're really asking two huge questions about:
        1. Traffic generation
        2. Conversion Rate Optimization/copywriting

They're the fundamental questions of Internet Marketing. I'm
afraid there is no simple answer to that.

That said, I'd suggest that you:
        1. Utilize the search function of Warrior Forum and search for
        proven traffic generation methods.

        2. Looking at your site, the top traffic generation methods
that come to my mind are:
        - Article submission (since you have plenty of content)
        - Link building
        - Forum marketing (in financial/stock-related forums)
        - Answer questions on Yahoo Answers

        3. I assume by conversion you're asking how to increase your
        opt-in rate.

In my opinion, the headline of your opt-in could use some
improvements. Start by testing a couple different versions
based on different angles/selling points, such as:

Curiosity: Revealed! Closely Guarded Investing Secrets...

Fear: You could lose thousands of dollars if you don't become
        an intelligent investor

Envy: How a smart investor like XXX made $99999 in one
        month...

Shock: Finally exposed! The shocking truth about investing

Greed: How to make more than you made last year with
        these investing tips

Anger: My stock broker was ripping me off...

The above are some very primitive headlines. Obviously you
shouldn't use them verbatim, but you get the idea.

        Hope that helps

Every SEO knows that it takes a lot of work to improve organic search results because producing and distributing high quality content is time consuming and expensive. While there are a lot of short cuts for getting low quality links that don’t last, the best permanent back links from high ranking sites always start with good content.

      Hi Bai_Mike
safe-swap is great for the IM niche, but not so good for investing/finance niche
Until you start ranking on SE's, i would suggest focusing on quality links that gets you traffic, like answering relevant questions on yahoo answers (with a link), posting on relevant forum with a signature link, comment on related posts/articles, making youtube videos with your link and promote them and so on

mate, wrong title describing the inside
I highly suggest you have a look around and not only those sources of traffic (there are tones of other ways)
