Quick Question About Google Page #1 Ranking

Hi there,

Just a very quick question.

Is ranking No.#1 on Google for the term, "How to do your first 10 push ups" something that is generally easy to achieve or is it common to be able to do it quite easily?

    well I'm guessing it's not that common seeing as there's only one #1 spot on google for that keyword...

    Haha, sorry I knew what you meant, I was just being an idiot. Had a look for you and looks like it's easy to rank but checked the search term, and it gets hardly any searches per month so even if you did rank, you'll get hardly any traffic from it.

    Wasim, my advise would be to look for keywords that have a few thousand searches with with Match Type "Exact", you would otherwise not get enough searches to justify the expenses. Using long tail for a host of keywords is better than just one or two keywords.

    It is achievable. Whether or not it is "easy" depends on a number of factors: the competition, your site's on page optimization, your backlinks vs. your competitors' backlinks, etc.

    Thanks that explains a lot then because I did manage to get on the first page of Google with those terms, but realized that the amount of traffic was just not coming in on that particular blog post so, yep, may be no one actually types that in.

    Any term can be achieved if you do it right.

    But that specific one I would say would take 6 months of good work to rank for.
