So one of the big discussions ive seen this past year is of coarse about Google and its updates.

So here's my question:

Do you think it is still worthwhile building microniche sites with an EMD? Google may not offer as much traffic options but the other search engines do not seem effected not to mention SEO is only one source.

I consistently build and sell microniche sites, and I haven't really seen any changes to be honest. What's everyones thoughts or where have they struggled in building these sites

EMD is still much better for SEO than brandable domain name (if the content and the rest of SEO is the same).

    • As you may see from my domain names below I know exactly what you mean. All other search engines are pre-penguin and you would have to assume they will come around soon. Also, EMD update swiped a site I had that is pr3.

Google has come around on guys like us, it's time to focus on the one megasite I'm afraid.

Im not an SEO expert. But I would have to say, that building a brand around your business or website, is a much smarter choice in the long run.
