Need help..trying to add adsense to wordpress

Hello everybody, I just wanted to start off saying thanx in advance for any helpful info. I am trying to add adsense to my site and I am having some trouble. I have tried to apply plug ins and that has not worked. I am also not sure how to access my html source code from wordpress dashboard. I am currently using wordpress 2.7. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You can use wordpress themes for Adsense if you like. These themes are easy to tweak to meet your needs.

    Make sure you're using a theme that supports widgets. Then get AdSense Manager, here:

    WordPress › AdSense Manager WordPress Plugins

    It's pretty easy to use.

    If plugins are not working for you than you can go ahead with the text or html widet options. Just copy code of adsense and paste them on these text widgets. You will be able to see the adsense ads on your wordpress blogs.

    This is the most easiest way to get the adsense ads on your wordpress blogs.

    Have a proper check on the themes you are using. Make sure its supported by adsense ads. Try also switching for text or html option, if the plugins are not working correctly.
