    Morning,

Do you have a blog? If so, craft a week-long series of posts that focus in the area in which you want to create high SEO. For example, let's say that your product focuses on, oh, dryland urban mushing. You can create several categories like:

    Tutorials
    Dryland
    Urban Mushing Tips

etc. The category names are important - they should contain your keywords.

Then every day, post one part of a 7 part tutorial on 'Beginners Urban Mushing Tips'. Make certain the title of each post contains a keyword as well. Within the post, contain outbound links to authority sites AND blogs as well (links to blogs automatically generate a trackback link to your site if approved).

Rinse and repeat and that should help. The above is one of the techniques I do when I want to rank high in targeted niches. Search for

    twitter rant

    animal planet hero

on Google - one of my older sites is number 1 from last year and another is #2 for this year.

    Hope that helps,

    Barbara

Excellent point! I had assumed the domain name was already chosen. Even if that was the case, you could build a quickie targeted blog on that DryLandUrbanMushing.com site that would point to the original business site as well.

Would you believe, dogs even as small as Boston Terriers can really get into pulling scooters - search on YouTube for

        ivy goes scootering

to see! I have to get my mooses into that someday....

I couldn't afford to feed the number of Boston Terriers needed to pull me more than 100 feet.

First do on page optimization and make sure your website conforms to all the basic needs for seo then only start building links. Otherwise how much ever links you may provide it won't get you top listings.

The main things to remember in an SEO campaign is that content is king. Your site needs to have quality unique content that is updated regularly. Moreover, you need to build links from trusted site that are relevant to the content of your own site. It is quality relevant links that will have the biggest effect on your site's ranking.
