Been a while since i have done any posting in a wordpress blog. Now that I have one I am trying to understand the Dynamic Content box that is now displayed when i am posting as admin.

I am under the understanding that it changes the content of your post to engage your reader and coincides with the search terms your visitor used to find the post.

I am trying to understand this better and would like to know if you would just use keywords or complete sentences? Any help in understanding what i would use in the box would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Not getting many bites on this one it seems. I imagine the best use for your dynamic content would be keyword-rich headlines.

Hopefully someone with a bit more experience will chime in. I just build simple wordpress sites with Optimize Press. Works great for me!

I'm not sure what you're referring to specifically (I admin on the WP platform and I don't see a box that says Dynamic Content), but dynamic vs static is basically defined thusly:

Static pages are fixed pages, they are the same every time you pull them up.

Dynamic pages are different based on the actions of the person pulling up the page. You really notice this with advertising widgets like adsense. If you ever click on an ad for say, volusion, you'll start seeing that ad across mutiple browsing sessions, on different websites, from different computers, etc, if you're signed into google. The ad widget is dynamic content that changes based on the browser cookies, your google account, your search terms, the web page content, etc. It's the opposite of static.

      That help?

Brand new blog on a lead generating website. I am installing my first blog post and then i see the "Dynamic Content" box. If i am understanding correctly it is to change the keywords in the post to match that of the visitor so that it will engage them more. Now I guess my question is what do i put it the box?

I guess I'd have to see your WP dashboard cause it aint there on mine and I'm on the newest version (3.5). You said that was on the post editor?

OK when i am on the edit post page and then under where it says Display it has a box titled Dynamic text the you enter your content. Outside of the box at the bottom it says

"If you have a text leaf on the single posts template with dynamic content enabled, you can enter content here, such as targeted ads, and have the content of the text box vary for every post."

Does this give you any idea that i dont know what i am talking about?

We must not be talking about the same platform. I'll see if I can throw up a screen shot and you tell me where I should be looking for this. Here's the WP edit post dashboard from one of my sites:

I used my newest WP installation (this domain is about a week old) so this is pretty much how your DB should look if you haven't done a whole lot yet.

Are you using a plugin or theme that adds this functionality?

You have two options for posting images on Warrior Forum:

Click on the red "Go Advanced" button at the bottom of the forum thread. This will bring up the Advanced forum comment editor that will let you hotlink to an image hosted someplace else on the net (small yellow/square thumbnail icon).

Or, you can upload the image directly to Warrior Forum by going to the same Advanced forum comment editor, then scroll down the page & you'll see a red button that says "Manage Attachments" upload your image with the new popup window.

When I upload an image I always use tinypic.com, then hotlink from the tinypic URL.

Open the image in an image editor (MS Paint, etc...) then crop only the part of the screenshot you want to post here on the forum, that will make the file size smaller.

OK here is the link to the screenshot. Look under where it says display and you will see the box for dynamic content

My web guy may have installed a plugin for this but I am not seeing it in my dashboard.

    Thanks Yukon!

Web site or blog content that changes constantly and stay more time the reader, Dynamic content can include animations, video or audio.
