What do you think of this method to get high link juice backlinks?

Go through other sites ahrefs.com backlink profiles - their links are in order- based on highest value

So you simply go to those sites and try to get your own link

A lot of times they're blogs do it's easy to do

What are your thoughts?

    This is an excellent strategy to get high quality backlinks. You should enter in your competitors' sites, and try to get the same backlinks as them.

      A lot of time the top links though for many sites are unrelated,
      Still theyre related enough I suppose-- And regardless of which they apparently provide a lot of link juice


      My question is why aren't more people doing this?
      -This seems way better than getting tiny link juice bits from forum posts and whatnot even from this site (w links in signatures)

    Cause on most of the sites you can't get a back link.

    And often when you can it's some spammy blog comment.

    But sure it's worth trying to contact the webmasters and again most people are too lazy for that.
