Hey Guys

So I run an online hydroponics store and I have been facing a big delima for a long time now. I have many products which are extremely similar and nearly identical product pages. This can be considered duplicate content and hurt my rankings, I will give you an example of the situation.

So I sell 3 types of expanded clay balls:

Small 2-4mm
Medium 4-8mm
Large 8-16mm

Each of these comes in 5L, 15L, 25L and 50L bags so there are 4 options to choose from.

At the current moment, each size of clay ball has its own product page, with a title of "Expanded Clay Balls Small 2-4mm" and vice versa. Inside each product page is a radio button with the option to select which size bag they want and the price will update itself appropriately.

Now my issue is here I have 3 products, each which I would like to write good content about on the product pages but I can't unless I was to have 3 different worded paragraphs of the same thing which would look stupid to customers.

My other option is to combine them all into one page whith the option of selecting their size and amount on the single product page. Then however it looks like I do not have much variety until a person actually clicks through the page.

Another simple example is, I have 2 grow lights, "PowePlant 400W HPS Light" and "PowerPlant 600W HPS Light". They both have the exact some descriptions except one is more powerful. My issue is I would like to on my category pages show to the customer that I have the light available in 400W and 600W. If I was to combine them into one page the title would have to change to be a generic "PowerPlant HPS Light" which gives no indication of the power of the light meaning its harder for someone to find what they are looking for.

I feel frustrated and confused about what to do in this situation. Anyone have any advice?
