Sorry if this is a dumb question - but is there anyway to know for which devices someone has setup their ppc campaign. I mean other than googling keywords from desktop, cellphone, and tablet. Thanks

Yes you can look in the campaign settings and see which devices are chosen. The default is "all devices".

Jmaria,

Unless there is some tactic I am unaware of, the best thing you can do is study your competition’s actions by searching on different devices using keywords that you believe will trigger their ads. I know this is tedious.
