Calculating Adsense income formula

I found this formula on how to calculate the income from Adsense on the net.
It is said to be somewhat accurate.

Global searches x CPC x 0.25 x 0.05 = Income

Anyone that can confirm it works ?

If you are ranked for top spot (1st), thats 50% of visitors.
A 5% CTR rate on ads.
50% of CPC.

    Who says you're going to get 5% clickthrough?
    Who says you'll get 50% CPC?
    Who says #1 gets 50% of visitors?

    It's all statistics, and statistics can be wrong. You can't evaluate how much per click you'll be getting, or how much money you'll get overall.
