google New Update? traffic dropped on 2 Jan 12:00

I am also getting this problem from last 1-2 days. May be something is happening in Google algorithms. May be there is something new update is rolling out.

Well, my ranks are increased.

On 2 Jan...I got almost twice as many visitors as I normally get, from Google.
However, I think it's just a Google dance...

It's not update. It's just a normal SERP tweak.

Google updates their search engines hundreds of times per year. They may have made a small update that effected your site negatively. None of my traffic went down, in fact it went up on one of my sites.

People went back to work?

Its not all in the algo!

I don;t think there was any update. Although even I got 25% more traffic on January 2nd. I just think that people are back from their Christmas and New Year Holidays . As far as the rankings are concerned, it is pretty much stable.

i also feel that some of my keywords fell at second page from first....and some are rises up.. thats right their is some change in google's algo. ..

Yea, I concur, no big movements for my part...

Anyone want to share their website with me so I can analyze and identify the target Google is after. I suspect ad placement, but who knows...

Haven't noticed any change in SERP

It seems like a minor update as many users didn't report it. I myself didn't see any change in SERP. But its clear that Google changes the algorithm several times a year.

Google has unleashed the dreaded 12:00 algo. update.

Run for the hills...

My keywords are in same position

since 2nd Jan I see traffic increase in my website. Before this there was no changes for 3 weeks.

Got a small traffic increase on one website and nothing on another.

Due to festive season there was drop in traffic, but it is increasing slowly.
