I have been working on a new SEO strategy for some time now and have come up with a strategy that works great and is effective for life. How am I doing this? I am writing articles by hand and have access to wherever I post my links, so if my site was effected negatively I could go and remove these links without damaging the site forever.

So I am thinking about offering my SEO to others in need of increasing their websites rankings, but I am wondering if people would even be willing to pay the price that it takes for SAFE EFFECTIVE SEO.

Currently I have my smallest package priced at $180/month and it includes over 10 hours of my time along with a monthly on site SEO report and keyword tracking for the clients keywords. I feel this is really low price for how much effort and time I will be putting into the clients SEO and I am also paying nearly $800/month for different tools and services which I will also be using on their sites.

I see so many seo services being sold for $30 or $70/monthly, but it is very obvious they are just using a SEO tool on their site and it only takes them a few minutes to set up. This type of SEO is no longer effective and I want to introduce a strategy that will be effective for years to come and increase your ranks tremendously.

Do you think I will be able to sell a great SEO service like this for $180/month or ever $299 for more difficult keywords?

That sentence on its own should tell every potential client what they need to know about your service.

    Avoid.

Totally ridiculous observation. There has been no algo change that has affected good content and no reason to believe there ever will be one. OP did not state they could rank their clients for life just that it would be effective.

My advice to the OP is that he is in the wrong place to ask such a question. Its like trying to sell a Rolls Royce in a welfare line. Most people here think $300 a month is alot of money for SEO (but will gladly pay that for a number of blasting tools that give them links that either don't work or in a few months will destroy their business)

Are you talking about 10 hours per day or just 10 hours in a complete month?

What you are paying for you tools, and the time you are putting in to get results won't matter to your clients if you get them results. We sell SEO to people who pay a lot more than $180 a month and they aren't concerned with whether we put in a couple of hours or an entire week into their SEO. We get them measurable results and they pay us.

If you ask me, I'd pay depending on the return I expect from the website. Someone with an affiliate site slapped together in a couple of days that he expects to make a couple hundred dollars a month from won't pay, however, someone who has a few local clients, or even a good authority site that makes money won't mind paying whatever gets them ranked.

For many keywords that actually make you money, $200-300/month is fairly little to spend to rank, or to maintain the rankings. Your prices in the long term also depend on a number of factors one of which could be the exclusivity of what you are providing.

The one thing constant is SEO is that it changes a lot, perhaps more than anything else. I won't sell on the promise of a strategy working for years... you never know. You just want to do what's working, and has a great chance of working in the future as well.

So, yeah, there are people who will pay $180 and a lot more, and there are people who would go to fivver and expect great results. :-)

It totally depends on your site, income expectations and competition. I spend more than $2000 on Google adwords so spending couple of hundred of dollars to SEO is not much.

I think if you feel it is a good service and works well then $180 per month is very affordable.
