I have blog which is added to the main site. Blog url is : http://mydomain.com/blog. On this url all of my recent blog posts show up. They are not arranged to show as snippets. So the entire post article shows up one after another. But when I click on any of them the article appears under a new url http://mydomain.com/blog/my-blog-post. So my question is ..whether there's any duplicate content issue or not? Because the same text is visible under two different urls. Anybody can help me with this?

I don't really get your question but if your blog post appear on your blog home page, you will see the actual URL where the post is published listed and that won't be a duplicate issue except something other than that.

That's not a problem for your website. As long as the content is on the SAME IP (moreover on the same domain...), everything is OK. Just be happy and write UNIQUE articles!

As both posts are accessed via slightly different URLs (as all posts are on WordPress - they can be accessed via tag links, category links etc) you should make sure you're using the link rel="canonical" meta tag. All the SEO plugins have this feature.

That will ensure that the search engines know which url is the primary one - the one they should present in the search results.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

That would be a duplicate content if the article in your homepage is shown in full and this content also found in the actual post page. Some people suggest to prevent this is to use the <!--more--> tag but I'm not really sure if it does work.
