Hi!

I use thesis theme version 1.8 for my niche sites.
One problem I cant overcome is that once my website is set to pages and when I use a static front page, thesis changes the title to h2 instead of h1 tag. On the rest of the pages they are all h1.

I have looked around the net and cant find a solution to this. Maybe someone experienced the same problem and knows a way to fix this.

Thank you

Max

The reason is when you use a front page for thesis, the H1 is from the title you create in the "Site Options" section in the Thesis area. It then takes the title of the page and makes that an h2.

If you want a different H1, change the settings in the Thesis area.

Hey thanks for you reply. But that totally do not make any sense to me why thats done. I tried to play around in the site options but I cant get it to work.

Is there a way I can add some code into the editor which turns the heading of my static page into h1 instead of h2?

Thesis is a payed theme, they advertise Unlimited forum support, why wouldn't you ask theme related questions on the Thesis forum? Just saying, part of what you payed for is forum support for the theme, that's what they advertise, I guess it's true.
