I never tried to build back links to my site. Whatever links I have they are all natural. I write original contents. Traffic to my site has been increasing steadily for last three months. I have noticed that during last two days the traffic to my site has suddenly fallen by 50%. What could be the reasons for this 50% sudden fall.

You need to be tracking incoming traffic sources, that way you'll know where the problem is.

Google is screwing everyone. I've heard they are going to be rotating sites from their page ranks.

I've heard the reason behind this is to encourage more people to use their PPC.

but the above post is right, track your traffic. make sure you have google analytics added to your site, especially if you're using SEO. It will tell you what pages are getting what traffic as well as how much.

The SERPs aren't static. If the SERPs were static your page would be ranked on page 7 million for all of eternity considering the old sites/pages that have been around since the 1990's.

That's completely false, not to mention ridiculous.

You obviously don't read much from google, or at least not completely.

If you allow google to "screw you," then you don't have a real
business. How on earth could they screw everybody? Why? How?
        For what reason?

I assume "everybody" refers to people who cannot stand on their
own two feet, need free traffic from google, and try all sorts
of latest and greatest ways to shmooze the results. Yup. Those
are exactly who google is screwing.

And I wish they'd screw even more of those bozos.

Create backlinks from social websites. Google loves social marketing.

  • Don't panic if it is just two days. Google does that from time to time but if your links are solid and your content relevant it will bounce back. If it does not then you need to look at your content and links closely. Can't go wrong with Yukon's advise, he knows what he is talking about.

Three months ago I got a pleasant surprise, one of my moribund sites spiked 200% suddenly and this site rose in SERP on all its keywords but three days later it was back on its pre-spike level, I could never figure that one out.

No need to worry, this is a common phenomenon on various websites these days due to recent Hawk Update in Google Algorithm. It will be normal soon. Have patience.
