Youtube Help Needed!

Hey everybody. I got some good insight about youtube on here and feel this is the track that I am going to take. I started to make some videos and upload them to youtube. My videos are not showing up in the search. I am doing the seo for my videos. Is there a certain amount of backlinking needed? What is a good Backlinking strategy? I am just looking for some pointers. Also, I have browsed this forum. What is the best way to find threads on youtube marketing and ranking videos? I usually just go to the Adsense/PPC/Seo section and type in youtube marketing. Is this correct, or is there a better way?

How long have your videos been out there? If it hasn’t been that long, it may take some time before they are showing up in search.

As far as optimization, there are the typical things like including keywords in description, title and tags. You can also make the file name of the video your target keyword. Another method to get more exposure is to create a video response with your video on another video on youtube. Do it on something relevant to your video and that also has a ton of views if possible.
