Can google track what website you own and penalise you based on searches and websites you visit?

If for instance you visit you money website and then visit or search for a website that then links to your money website can google calculate this as being one of your and negatively effect your money website?

    I think the only way they can is, if you use Google analytic, google webmaster and link everything together, they can track you. But if you are not doing anything wrong, there is no need to worry about that.

    I've wondered if they can track you when you use chrome or you're logged into your google account while browsing. And if you're like me you check your money site ranking all the time. I guess anything is possible, but I try to tell myself that's a little too "conspiracy theory" haha.

    I think there's a difference between what Google CAN track, and what they care about. If they really wanted to, they could tie everything together that you do while logged into Google. But do they really care?

    Lots of people have multiple websites. And lots of those people have their websites connected somehow. There's nothing wrong with that in and of itself.

    So it's not something I'd worry about.
