Doing SEO for local fitness website for "brick and mortar" gym

Hey guys,

I've surfed the "Warriors for Hire" section quite a bit lately looking for some SEO work. A buddy of mine runs a local gym and he came to me asking if I could get his site up in the rankings. Now SEO isn't quite my cup of tea, but I offered to help... As such, I'm here looking for someone who can help me out. I've seen a number of warriors in the for hire section that look like they do good work, but I'm really looking for local SEO work.

Again, I need SEO services for a local business. Any good recommendations to anyone on here?

P.S. I read a post on this forum that said WarriorForum isn't the place to look for SEO services, but I don't really plan on buying a dozen fiverr gigs, so hopefully someone here can help.

      Thanks for the link squadron... I will look into them more, but I guess I wasn't very clear on my first post. The "budget" (so far) sits at or below $100. I guess I failed to mention the gym hasn't actually opened yet (scheduled for the end of January) so he has a small budget to get his name out.

      Looking at both those links, I feel like they're services will cost me at easy 3 figures, maybe 4... While in a few years time, this may be a worthwhile investment for the business, unfortunately, I think they're services are a bit out of reach.

      I'm not looking for page 1 for crazy hard keywords or anything, just something to get practically a brand new website out there.

    What local terms is he trying to rank? if you do not want to post them here shoot me a pm and the cities he is trying to rank in so i can see what it looks like
