Please share your search VS clicks statistics

I have been optimizing my website for a while now, and it's ranked number 8 on the first page on Google. Google Keyword tool is showing that there is 18K search for the phrase match, and just about 4K for the exact match. But I'm getting 0 visitors??

And this is not the first time it happens, some while ago I optimized a website where about 8K searches are being made every month on the exact keyword. I got 10 visitors everyday, and the site was number 1 on the first page.

So I would appreciate if you guys&gals would share some info statistics regards position on Google/amount of searches and clicks.

I think it would be of a great benefit for us all, and maybe I can understand why this is happened to me twice now.

    Even though you were appearing on the first page of Google SERP’s, that doesn’t guarantee you will get a ton of traffic.

    How do your meta descriptions look. This is sometimes why CTR is low on organic results. The meta description is the one marketing related opportunity you have in organic results.

    Fully agree with Shawn - adding though that you must be focusing on writing captivating titles!

    Think of this analogy. You have a shop on a busy street. If the sign is not eye catching and upon closer scrutiny, the display window unappealing, would you walk in? Now I don't know your site but a slight change of meta/title can be like magic. "Trust me" - I've been there and now get URL clicks far beyond the stats that Google shares - you know these right -e.g. 36/4% from #1, 12.5% from #2, 9.5% form #3 etc. - on average of course
