Hello guys and gals

I have not started a value thread for a long time on the forum. I think that is bad form but honestly there isn't much value here these days so maybe I can change things. One thing I can tell you is that all the "little seo guro wannabeas" who have thousands of posts are not worth listening too on this forum.

Okay guys... in this thread I want to provide three solid SEO techniques that work and work really well....

High PR Domains For Link Exchanges

This is the best of the best:

Basically it involves acquiring 2-3 high PR domain (pr 4+). Setup these doamins with highly valubale content related to your niche. Place at least 10-15 high quality articles on these sites.

Once that is done contact people in your niche and sell them on a 3-way link exchange. What is a 3-way link exchange:

A --> B --> C --> A

Three sites: A, B and C! A links to B links to C and C links to A.. this type of link exchane works well! It is not your typical A---> B--->A type of exchane which is easily distinguishable.

How do you sell these links?

Not a blogroll link? This is what I do: I make it kind of a guest posting thing but the clause is: the post has to have permanent sidebar link... this insures that juice passes ove to the post and it increases in PR.

(sorry guys, I need to go... will add the next 2 methods just now)

ADDED:
Sorry guys, something non-IM related came up which I need to handle. I was going to go indepth into everything but I will just quickly outline the other two methods.

Niche Related Blog Network

This is something that I started trying out after penguin and it is working great. This works better on affiliate sites or if you are selling your products and you want to dominate your niche. Ultimately this network is about targeting lower comp. keywords to make money on these sites and to build up your main money site.

I have created a network of 20 websites and each site is built on a PR3 domain (a few PR2's in the mix as well). Basically I set all sites up like real money sites and I target KWs on each of them. The keywords are all less competitive than my main site but the sites are built like a real site with value-adding content. I target around 3-5 keyword in the niche on each site and I rank the KWs using web 2.0s (come to that later), guest posts and social links for diversity. The KWs I target I not hard to rank for in this network so I do not need many links and the age and authority of these domains means it doesn't take a long time to rank these KWs.

Besides this I use this network to rank my main website. The relevence I get from this network plus the PR of the domains provides a real SEO punch that pushes the main site up in the SERPs really quickly.

To keep things updated on this network I accept guest posts on them.

WEB 2.0 Network

This is a bit old but it still works. I build my Web 2.0's with unique content again but I set them up with value in mind. Each post is 500 words in length and I add a minimum of 4 posts to each web 2.0. I also interlink my posts like I will do for any of my money websites. This isn't about firing up a sofware and getting your posts on the Web 2.0 as quick as possible - it is about adding value to the web 2.0.

I use each Web 2.0 to build links to my main website as well as to the niche network (to rank the money KWs across all sites). I also use high PR blog comments to increase the PR of the Web 2.0s. I do add other links from article directories and bookmarking sites as well.

Wherever possible I try not to interlink different properties but I do randomly link from the niche network to the Web 2.0s to juice up the posts there. However, I do link from the entire niche network to the main money site because that is the ulitmate goal - using the niche network to build up the main site.

Basically I am seeing income from many of the properties I have created and the value of the links from the niche network as well as the link exchanges is huge. I do also guest post directly to my main money website and then use the network to juice up the links from the guest posts.

I know this is an expensive approach but it has proven to be the most effective strategy for me over the last 8 months. Anyway I hope someone will extract some value from my methods and see why there is actually a long-term aspect about this approach that makes it great.

After penguin I was looking for a way to focus on quality and what I call "link longevity" meaning links that last a long, long time and to do this I needed control of my best links and I needed to add value to 3rd party sites to ensure my links stick for a long time and this strategy is what developed from there. In the beginning I wasn't interested in making money from the "niche network" until I started seeing traffic coming from these properties and realized there is an opportunity to make even more money in this niche from the network itself which is when I adjusted my strategy to start ranking KWs on the network.

That's really good. It's good that you shared your strategy with others. Also 3 way link building is really good, but it takes a lot of efforts to get sites like that.

using link exchange, not matter A B or ABCD, are quite risky. Because google can tack such link wheels, if one site have problem, all the websites will be affected by using such link exchange strategy, especially for 2013.

This is not exactly ground breaking information buddy, and I would agree that it's a risky strategy with the sophistication of Google's algorithm these days.

    Just saying...

Truth is, most people don't have the funds to pay for quality SEO.

The others who do, does that because they are knowledgable about good SEO.

What you said above is nothing new.

Alot of people don't know or can't afford it.

You're absolutely right there. Effective SEO requires spending real budget and I'm not talking about fiverr jobs or quick senuke blast. Good seo will have their own built up link networks (private) or they willl spend big budgets on acquiring links.

Bad SEOs or people who think they know seo because they've read an amazon niche marketing report think good seo is about social bookmarks, web2.0, profile links, tiered linking and they they start drawing super complicated link wheels...

For 2013 I think I will take more care about social media. In this panda and penguin world we can’t depend on SEO. Moreover Google is going to introduce Author rank which highly depends on social media.

This 3 way link exchange is also known as a link wheel although its a very small one. And you should leave one site open-ended...

In other words, C should not link back to A because closed link exchanges like this do run a risk of getting penalized for participating in link exchanges!
