1) Get a bunch of GOOD PR5 domains.
(I say "good" because there is a TON of fake junk out there, eg. sold on forums. But if you look, you can find them. Verify that the PR5 domains are legit with an already established link profile.)

2) Make qualitative very nice sites on those domains, keep the sites on a specific subject. (Eg. IM, SEO, health, whatever). Put pages on there, contact, terms, privacy, the usual. Put social widgets on there, like-buttons on your posts.

3) Once site look really good, start posting some high quality posts, link out to authority site in your niche as well. For SEO/IM, I usually look at "SEO News" and then just write something similar.

4) Give Google time to index, several weeks maybe.

5) Now you can put reviews up there, keep your high quality standard. Dont keep posts too short, 700-800 words for reviews is pretty good. Look at all the usual on-site SEO, put images in your posts, alt-tags etc. For clickbank links I use php redirects. It just looks cleaner than hoplinks.

THIS WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL without *any* link building whatsoever. I had reviews for clickbank products and whatever other articles ranking incredible high incl. spot #1 a few weeks after posting, WITHOUT any link-building or any off-site SEO done.

The power of PR5 or better domains is absolutely mind-boggling!

How to step it up, make it even better:

Since your sites will all have FB widgets and like buttons etc, make a FB page for your site(s) as well. (Well..obvious...)

Establish G+ profile and author profile on Google, put your image on there. Keep the G+ profile somewhat busy. On your site(s), use the "authorsure" Wordpress plugin.

* Use a plugin for a video site-map and put videos for your reviews up too. Videos from youtube STILL outrank me occasionally. It might be possible to beat them with videos on your sites

* If you have a bunch of such higher PR sites, even better. With your own small, private network, keep all sites on different IPs of course, different hosters even...then you can also *carefully* interlink from one site to the other. for even more ranking power

* You can also use your sites to offer guest posting. But: Keep your quality standard high, don't allow junk posts, look at where your "guests" link to, keep OBL and overall number of gust posts low as well. Do NOT spam your site with low quality guest posts as so many do right now.

1) Your site gets quality posts from your guests --> Even better rankings for your site
2) You get MONEY for getting new content
3) ?
4) Profit!

I completely agree with you.. I have used this tactic several months know and it's working really well.. However, the only "bad" part of this strategy is that legit/quality PR5's can be pretty expensive... However, you don't need any additional backlinking for those sites.. maybe only few social bookmarks to those "review articles"...

Love expired domains. It's just a matter of doing your research to ensure that the PR is real and adding quality content to the site.

You can also use them to send links out to other sites you've got. (Can even build your own private backlink network if you can invest a little.)

How to check that easily? While I am suing searchstatus add on in my firefox which shows the PR of a webpage whenever I enter them. How to know if they are legit?

Do the rankings stick for long time or do they go off? Secondly, how do you find whether a site's PR is legitimate or fake? Thirdly, how much would you suggest buying a PR5 domain?

Do not rely on any addons and "PR checkers". You MUST verify the links manually, you could start typing in google links:http:/www.site.com or use majesticseo or similar software/service where you can SEE the links. Also..in majesticso (I myself need to figure that out too still)..not all links displayed all recent. If the database is outdated it might show links which don't even exist anymore.

How do PR sites lose their PR? Easy: If you buy a PR site (which MIGHT or might not have valid PR)..and all/most of the links are gone..there won't be any PR next time Google updates. If a domain you buy has an established link profile with "old" links, you can assume most of the links stay which also means your PR will be kept.
