"Index site" backlinks for anchor viration ?

I was thining about this:

For building the quality links (web 2.0's, ezinearticle,goarticle, video backlinks etc) using the main keyword, and than use index sites with other anchor text such as "click here" "blog" "check this blog out" etc..

Your thoughts?

    Instead of looking at it from the type of link, look at it from the quality of the link. There are good web 2.0s, and there are crappy 2.0s. But you're on the right track in terms of wanting to link to your money site with your keyword from a high quality site and use other (not necessarily crappy, but less than the highest quality) for anchor text variation.

    The reason I want "index sites" is because they are super fast to build for the anchor text.. I guess forum profiles and blog comments can also be used for anchor text viration..

    But for now.. anyone know a nice free tool to use for index sites which allow you to use anchor text ?
