Hi Warriors,

I have a site in the alternative and natural health niche and I accept high quality, unique and relevant articles as guest posts... the trouble is I get a lot of submissions that are actually pretty good articles but the link they provide in their author bio is not relevant. For example today I got a great post about about natural health foods but the author link points to a writing site...

What should I do about this? Accept them or don't accept them.. always try and get them to provide links that are relevant but when they are not I can never decide... what do you guys think?

Thanks

Do you have a Term and Condition for approving any articles, this you should tell them before approving them as your guest on your blog, some time ago I receive an email for a guest post requesting to write for my blog only to send me an article that is off my niche. So you need to tell them your do & don't that's for me. You want your readers to trust your posts and you don't want to lead them to something that is totally different from what you are posting. Hope this helps?

Managing guest posts is much harder than self-writing. Go for managing your site by your own and stop accepting guest posts.. If you are going to run your site fully on guest posts, first set a policy for it and try to make it like ComLuv.com which I am seeing as the only best managed site which runs on guest posts.
But you have mentioned that your site is niche-specific, so irrelevant outbound links may harm your SEO.
