Need advice on strategy...

I'm a total noob. But I think I have a good idea of what I would like to do.

I have a money site. I have 7 PR3 blog articles which reside on well known blogs in my niche. I would like to boost these blog posts so they rank for "my money site reviews" as the main keyword. This phrase is already in these blog posts and titles. Sounds simple enough, right?

As far as I see it, I have 2 ways to approach this...
  1. Build a link wheel linking the 7 PR3 posts.
  2. Buy one of our fellow warriors' kick arse SEO packages for each post, a total of 7 packages.
  3. Do a combination of both 1 and 2.
Theoretically it looks like I don't need to involve my main money site in the SEO, correct? Would just like a couple other opinions on this as I keep doubting the direction I would like to go in this regard, since I'm a noob. Would appreciate any input.

    Yep so maybe this was a dumb question. Basically I'm trying to run my own reputation management campaign. I would rather outsource it or purchase a package to get it handled, but I'm afraid there of "specialists" trying to rip me off, so I'm trying to handle it on my own.
