Thanks, that is very interesting. I wonder if that technique can be adapted to organic search.

Some of it can. Visitors from Google arrive with a query string that can be parsed with PHP so you can display the keyword that was used to find your site. With that information you can bold the text if found on your page, insert advertisements related to those keywords, redirect to an offer, etc.

Dynamic KW insertion for ppc landing pages is great.

But for SEO? mmm...could be viewed as Blackhat.

          Actually, it's not that technical.
I was thinking of doing something similar for rotating keywords and
articles on my landing pages. But, I decided that may not be
prudent, as I want to concentrate on one thing.

When someone has made their first billion, let me know.

          Thanks for the post, however!

Yes, that is the unfortunate downside of this. It does require a moderate level of technical expertise to implement. Even I didn't know what a .HTACCESS file was until I few months ago though.

No Dave, I can code blindfolded. Your instructions are FLAWLESS. I was only making a point that some users might not even know what PHP is and wouldn't be able to implement what you tell them to do very easily. With a little intro into coding, people can behold the amazing power you show them in your script.

Looks great but I am not a techie guy and as you said you may need some intermediate skills in coding to be able to know how to put this together...

Looks good especially if you are int eh affiliate business.

    Thanks

tmursch - thanks, understand. That blogs covers a lot of what I am doing at the time - I figure if I am interested in something and figure it out, others might be interested. The reason I asked the question "so what do you want to know?" is that I thought might not have been clear on how to do what I was writing about. Sometimes it is easy for me to get caught up in what I am doing and what ends up in writing isn't the best explanation.
