Hey guys, Im looking at PPC to build my list quickly, Now I got the money to spend to get the clicks I want for now, I just want to make sure I can "optimize" my conversions, I have been doing a little bit of research for tips on ppc and now I want some warriors advice lol. I have 2 ads, with 18 keywords for about 5 or 8 cents a click, and I believe the highest bid i'll put is 8 cents not too sure where to configure that but I think I that is what I put, since the default was 30 cents for search engine results or content results, I am using Yahoo for my ppc campaign. At this moment I have not completed my followup messages im on my 11th out of the 30 i wish to complete, and I believe I am providing good value and trying to improving on providing even better value. So any tips warriors?

My advice is to do proper market research!
I found alexa is a great place to find relevant traffic stats
for site (squeeze page, offer) I want to advertise using ppc.
You can find stats about a site you plan to promote
like: from which countries visitors come, their age, gender,
    browsing location, education.

There is also an option to research the most popular sites
in the same niche like your offer!

Interesting, I have a simple squeeze page set up, and I'll see what kind of research i can do after getting those clicks.

18 keywords may not be enough when using yahoo/bing ppc. I would try to have at least 100+ keywords.

here is a good keyword tool that will give you a bunch of keywords from one seed keyword Keyword suggestion tool — Google suggest scraper — Ãœbersuggest

You got it right when you said "providing good value"!

There are very few lists that people love to be on. My best advice is: be one of those lists.

It doesn't matter if you PPC/PPV your tail off. If you don't provide real value to your subs they will be gone with the wind and you spent your money on air.

Exactly I noticed my self unsubscribing from people that just clutter my inbox and do not at least entertain me, or give me a good read. I stuck with a couple IM lists that i actually do like, and nutrition lists that I learn a lot from. My focus is on an amazing followup series with 3/4 of it being valuable and hopefully some what entertaining content lol.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to add more keywords to my campaign so it helps, but since I'm in the IM niche im focusing on keywords that imply owning a business and not just how to make money as quickly as possible. So my leads know what to expect and will think a little more realistically, at least I'd like to assume that.

I agree with ej2 but beside more keywords, you should make more ads also and then just test test test..
run your campaigns for at least 1000 clicks, and then you will have enough data to eliminate non converting ads and keywords and leave only winners

Very true, so I will get to work on more ads and keywords!

If you're paying more than a few dollars per lead, you're better off outsourcing the PPC.

PS: Use Bing, and use tons of keywords, and bid low, very low.

Thanks! That is exactly the reason why I am using ppc, for low 5 cent clicks lmao. How can I outsource my PPC campaign because that could save me a bit of time?

I think you can start with some offers or relevant incentives to sign up, that is the number one. Besides this provide the value of the subscribers. Emphasize the value of your given information which includes testimonials from subscribers. Check out the following link here -

What is more you should keep an eye on working on building the relationship with your subscribers by asking your subscribers to interact with you.
