Hi folks,

I was just wondering what books you recommend for someone looking to gain practical knowledge of SEO? I'd like to tweak some of my sites and, while I understand the basics, it's the bigger framework that these basics fit into that I lack.

Cheers,
George

    Also,

Brad Callen has an excellent free book which is easy to find on a google search. Called "SEO Made Easy".

It explains all aspects of SEO in simple terms but in great detail.

    Cheers,
    John.

The best and latest information will come from forums. I think the book Minstrel mentioned is one of the more highly recommended ones. SitePoint has a Search Engine Optimization toolkit as well, but the price and a large section of the content targets SEO professionals - with things like proposal sheets and other business forms you would need. I think the Aaron Wall book is updated pretty frequently with recent trends, etc. and that's why it's recommended more often than others.
But below i am giving you some site links from where you can get some good tips for SEO.Please check the links below.Hope it will help you.
