Well, i was about to purchase quite a few domains, and was wondering if different tlds have any effect upon PR of the site. I know that .edu-s rank higher, but is there any diffrence between .com,.net.info,.biz and so on and such?

This site here: Domains - SEO Best Practices | SEOmoz
Says to avoid .biz and .info and a few other domains and strictly suggests .com.
My question is, which tld would get indexed well and rank higher, or it doesn't matter and purely depends upon the content of the site?
Thanks a lot.

.com is the way to go, and .net .org in second place. However, with high quality content and the right link building campaign you can rank an .info domain or any other.

I'm still confused. See, what i have is limited resources and have also to invest in hosting and CEO.
Still confused if I should go for a .com/.net or .info.
But anyways, what i conclude is that it doesn't matter and the key factor is backlinks and content. Thanks a lot for your responses!

The content is the most important factor on how you will rank. The only other thing I see that can make a domain better is how old it is.
I have domains for over 10 years, and those rank well for new content.
