Optimizepress and Yoast SEO Compatibility Issue

I've discovered a compatibility issue between OptimizePress and WordPress SEO By Yoast and have confirmed that others have reported this issue as well. I'm hoping someone has a solution.

When Yoast SEO is activated, it breaks the OptimizePress page using the Blog Template. So I am unable to create a blog summary page (e.g. mysite.com/blog).

When the plugin is not activated, the page displays all blog posts as expected. When the plugin is activated, the page only displays posts made by the initial (admin) user. So instead of displaying all posts from all authors, it is displaying only posts from a single author.

I'd appreciate any solutions to this. Thanks.

    Have you tried this? maybe the two are conflicting.

    in wp-admin

    go to Optimize Press > SEO Options

    then check the box that says:
    Disable OptimizePress SEO Options - this will disable all OptimizePress custom SEO options. Check this box if you are using a separate SEO plugin

      Yep, turned off OptimizePress SEO. It doesn't look like it's a simple SEO issue. There's something deeper that the Yoast plugin is doing, just can't figure it out.

    I went through every option in Yoast SEO, turning it on/off, and none fixes this problem. Sigh.

    If you posted both versions of the page it probably wouldn't take much to figure which part of the Optimize press is being broken in the HTML.

    If the page looks messed up, it's most likely a part of a <div> tag being removed.
