You should build some backlinks to get your video number one on Google and it is not going to happen overnight since you picked a high competitive keyword and it is not going to be impossible either because I saw many YouTube videos ranking number one on google for a high competitive keywords for example try google the term make money online and you will find 4 videos dominating the first page and when you check there backlinks you will find thousnds of backlinks and also youtube videos are easier to rank then any other website because google trusts youtube hope you can find something useful in my comment.

i know i can get backlinks from fiverr - do you have any recommendations on who you would use or from any other place at all ?

also how do i find out on which page my video sits rather than searching through all the youtube pages on finance ?

ps - i can find myself on page 2 at the moment - again this was a random video but am just testing this all - help would be great -- cheers

ok ive paid for the basic for the 550 - and do you feel that is enough to get to page 1 ?

when i initially posted the video would i have been the last video ? - that over 600,000 videos on ' finance ' ? is that correct ?

by the way that is not my video as i am just testing to see how to get to page 1 and i just picked on that video

is there anything else i can do ?

also rank tracker - is that paid software ?

no one can really predict if it is enough or not some of my videos are ranked just with one Gig some of them ranked with many Gigs it all depends on the competition just keep monitoring your ranking day by day and keep backlinking also consider web 2 properties and dofollow blog comments and remember I do not guarantee anything as Google SEO algo is changing a lot and Rank Tracker is paid but there is a free trial version.

Backlinks to a youtube video are fairly useless, as they are not
really links. They are links to youtube, generating dynamically a page
that will show your video. You want to make a webpage, embed
the video, SEO the webpage, build links to that page. Then
start building links to your youtube channel.

Pump up the views and ratings in terms that do not violate TOS.
Post it on FB, etc.

The algo has changed to factor in if the video is watched all the
way through.

You will have to get a lot of good quality links also high PR. You have to work tooooo hard to rank this keyword.

i chose finance

already on page 2 after 2-3 days approx 29,700 searches per month using https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool

i believed in 100,000 is a good keyword to choose

so did i start on the last page ? and now on page 2 - trying for page 1

Page 1 of YouTube, or Google? Getting to page 1 of the YT results is a little easier. But bumping that video to page 1 in Google for "finance" is going to be incredibly difficult.

yeah if your goal is t o get page 1 video rankings on google via your youtube video or channel..then you have to first start off targeting a lower competing keyword than finance my friend. Sheesh, why not start with mortgage loans or make money online.

Look at the other videos that have a ton of views and subscribers for your keyword. Chances are they have something that make the visitor want to stay and watch. Look at how they make the video and why people like it. Doesn't have to be high quality but entertaining.

Yes, you need to add more word in finance and try to use long tail keyword for better result in short period of time.

Hi,
I understand your frustration, I spent some time researching how to get you tube videos ranked on page 1.
I accomplished it very successfully just google "how to get free facebook fans" and you will see my video on page one.
You want to know how I did it?
Join Numerous platform blogs, write different content with the same keywords and link them all together. get backlinks on high PR Sites and heavily promote the video on your social networks and you will rank 1..

Buying youtube views, likes and other garbage from fiverr, or
anywhere, is completely against youtube TOS. I wish
people would stop suggesting such stuff.

thanks a lot - but can someone explain to me how and why i was ranked on page 1 in youtube search for about 4 hours . Now when i search in youtube search for finance my video doesnt even come up

1) why would i rank on page 1 on youtube for 4 hours and then disappear
2) where has it disappeared to
3) how do i find out what page number i am on

i cant believe this as i was buzzing to be on page 1 and now its gone....plz can you kindly explain to me how this can happen and why ?

dreamcube - i wasnt logged in

that same video is on page 2 for search " finance making money " - u can check it

but it was page 1 finance - i also had checked it from another location and so did some friends as i showed them what i had achieved - so it wasnt that i was logged in ??

Your video is dancing around. Just like any other site / page. It's going to dance a little until it settles. Nothing much you can do aside from sending some backlinks to it and being patient. Instead of worrying too much I'd suggest moving on to other videos and keywords.

What Paul said can't be stressed enough. You really don't want to buy view, subscribers, likes etc. It might be nice seeing the numbers going up, but they are not real people who could become potential customers.

Having real viewers means getting more view through word of mouth. The marketing skills you are learning need to be backed up by a video/product that people will get excited about.

To answer your question, another method you could try is writing guest posts on related niche blogs with the video embedded or linked. Also posting on your own blog if you have one.
