Can this cause duplicate content issue?

I have a wordpress site where I review various HDTV types.
There are about 100 reviews on the site and each post is linked to 2 different categories.
For instance, 55LM7600 is a LED TV by LG.
This post exists under the "LG" and "LED TV" categories both.
Can this cause a duplicate content issue for search engines?

    I had a client who had similar issues with a WP theme.

    Most of the pages had duplicate content from categories and post.

    Try running it on copyscape and check if there is plagiarism, you will be able to see where the link comes from, if from your own page then you need to get a professional web developer.

    I suggest you remove those widgets.. you can use screaming frog for check your site. Caterogies, Archives, About with link and other widgets with link are considered as duplicated because it keeps on showing on different pages. for example on blog. I posted a new content, automatically it will add a new URL. but the widgets is still showing on that URL automatically it will generate 2 or more links on a single page.

    If there are two distinct pages then yes there will be duplicate content. You could fix the issue by only linking posts to one category or using the rel canonical tag on the page that you want search engines to index (although with a template I’m not sure how easy that would be).
