I suppose you want to know that, through your website (on which you advertised the affiliated product) how much traffic you have sent to the product site & earned?

If yes, then you can find all such analytics details in your Google Adsense account.
If not, then still I am not sure about your ask.

If you're asking what's the use of using a website instead of directly linking to the sales page, then it's mainly because this way you can "warm up" your visitors before seeing the actual sales page, and in the end it'll result in a higher conversion rate. Also, you can capture their email addresses, thus building your list at the same time.

Of course there's much more to it than this, you should do some research on landing pages.

That, and almost all but the lowest quality PPC networks, don't like direct linking.

Another point to take into consideration is that if you're using Google Adword, then Google often takes offence to ads that link directly to an affiliate offer and it can get your Adwords account suspended - this is usually because the landing page does not adhere to Google's policies. Anyway, it's always best to send clicks to your own page first in order to capture a lead via an opt-in form before sending them to the offer. That way if you don't make a sale you still have a list to market to again.

Yes, that's a very important point as well. If you try to direct link directly to the offer page, you can expect to get banned very shortly (and a simple squeeze page won't make do most of the time).
