A micro niche wordpress blog with 5 unique articles at least 500 words each optimize for SEO. Does it still favorable to Google in 2013?

    Short answer, no. Long answer, Google are favoring bigger sites with authority a lot more. Even if you do manage to rank a 5 page micro niche site, you'll be hit sooner or later for thin content

    you mean work as in adsense micro niche? It can work but i am reading a lot lately that every blog with under 10 articles is somehow getting problems ranking, so i sugest you make 5 more articles.You don't want G to see your website as some kind of small content landingpage but as something useful to surfers.

      Being consistent it's one of the most important factors. One of the most attractive ( but distructive ) idea when you are into something new is to create as many projects as you can.

      Instead of creating 5 microblogs on 1 niche, search a very good niche which can be diversified. Build 15 pages each tackling a very targetted keyword. There are many resources which can help you to find the best keyword.

      In this way, you avoid any penalty and you start to create a solid project which can be profitable for a long period. Consistency is again important and that's why you should continue to add articles once the project is established.
