Is it safe to link to a Panda penalized site using nofollow

I have a panda penalized site that I still use. I was wondering if I can link to the site from my other site thats in very good standings with Google. If I use a nofollow link should I be OK? Or, should I avoid linking to this Panda site at all cost? Don't want to hurt the reputation of my good site.

    yupe you can use nofollow links to any site,Its harm only when porn site is linking to you or vice versa.

    I also think it's good because no-follow links doesn't crawl by search engine and they don't pass any link juice to a website.

    I wouldn't worry too much about a few links, to be honest.

    And by "penalized" do you mean removed from the search results entirely? Or just knocked down a bit? There's a HUGE difference between the two.
