301 Redirrect Every Page on a Site

I have a site that was hit hard by Panda & Penguin. It went from #1 & #2 in Google to #19. I suspect it is because of backlinking techniques used in the past, but not present. I have high quality content & more information about my niche than all my competitors.

Would 301 redirecting the entire site, page by page, to a copy of the site on another domain help to gain some of my rankings back?
#301 #page #redirrect #site

I don't know why you would start again when the site is ranking, usually, you'll duplicate the site to another domain if it's deindexed. Just add more quality links and you'll be golden.

If you're site's page is currently ranking at #19, you were definitely not hit hard by penguin and panda. Getting hit hard is your site not ranking at all. At #19 you can easily get your site ranking higher by addressing whatever minor issue caused it to drop in rankings. Could be keyword stuffing, spammy links, etc. But it doesn't look like anything so severe that I'd consider a new site.

Hit hard or not, #19 in Google might as well not even be ranked. Any suggestions for recovery if I already have more quality content than my competitors?

Put some logic in here. You are at #19. Pity the poor fool
who suffered a bigger penalty and is at #20.

Now, if you make it back to, oh say #10, then what is the
poor fool who dropped going to whine about?

Is the chap going to say, "Gee, I must have done something wrong."

Or, "Gee, someone just did better things."

People put too much emphasis on google penalties, panda, penguin,
      and other such nonsense.

Not every site deserves to be #1 forever. Some sites may be chosen
from time to time. And some sites may never get there.

You can't have it both ways.

The biggest penalty google can dish out, is *gasp* seeing that another
site is just better. Sounds crazy, right?

      However, that's not a penalty.

Penalties are way overblown here, and completely misunderstood.

You should be fine just dont redirect more then 3 domain names to one domain. Google sometimes catches on.

I think it'll take time to pass all those link juice you are aiming for and it'll take time for G to recognize all of it. You backlinks are counted to your site and not to the one your are trying to redirect 301 with.

First of all think about Google! The bot is not a fool :p. Me also used some 301 redirect to my sites. In that experiences i can say that never do redirect entirely first time. Do redirect step by step and only move to next step if that working.

No need to redirect your existing domain and its page to another new domain. Work on yur existing site, try to remove bad backlinks, enrich your content to make it useful to the users, make it engaging and also use social media sites for promotion. Wait for sometime to see whether there is improvement. Hope it works.
