I've been sitting in #3 of Google search for one of my keywords. The first one is a youtube video and the second is an older website in the same niche.

Any tips?

I assume you want leads for some kind of sale?

    b) Create a better youtube video and SEO / market it to the top
    c) Make your serp listing more attractive for clickers. Put your phone number on your website and close the sale yourself.
    d) continue your seo efforts and push your site to number 1 in the serps
    e) build another site to push for position 2 in the serps
    f) Pay for Adsense PPC and go above the top spot immediately (or within a few days)
f.2) buy other traffic that you can sell to
    g) attract different buyer traffic by targeting long tails around your main buyer keyword.

    a) Forget about getting that website to number 1 in the SERPs and actually go out and MARKET it in the real world.

improve your onpage optimization for that page.
Also do some offpage optimization activities to boost your rankings.
It will be better if you can do a analysis of the first two websites and from where they are getting backlinks.

Increase the authority of your website/page that is ranking at #3. This is important to get yourself up to the 2nd position at least.

There is not any fix process to get rank but you should keep going continuously same as u did... Don't try short cuts because these are not for long time ranking...

I am not a GURU or Expert. But I think you should have a research on number #1 and #2 site and check out their backlink profile. Try to achieve backlinks from the same sources. It really helps a lot.

You can outrank the competition by making sure you have good on-page and off-page strategies. For on-page, having high quality content that is useful for human visitors is a must. If you have quality content, it will be easy for it to go viral. Your site structure should also be user friendly site – easy to navigate and fast loadable for great user experience.

Also, acquire high quality links from various authority domains – contextual links from article directories, web 2.0 properties, wiki sites, social bookmarking, document sharing, creating blog posts, press release and video marketing. All these will help you drive traffic to your site and high traffic will lead to high ranking in the SERPs.

What have you done so far to get to number 3? Analyze the older site's profile and see if anything stands out.

I will suggest you to continue what you were doing to reach #3. Its already nice position.

Also try to analyze the backlink profile of the one site which is above yours (you don't need to do the same for the YouTube video). And try to attack it its weak link. You will eventually get the success.

Try a local SEO strategy if you haven't listed your business in Google places.. Concentrating more on on-page optimization will also work.

I would offer a different bit of advice - leave it alone. Being #1 does not necessarily get you more traffic than being #3. Especially if #1 is a YouTube video, which is going to get skipped over by people doing information searches or looking to buy a product.

The older site will be tough to beat, but that's OK - don't concern yourself with it and be happy with the #3 position. Focus your efforts on some of your keywords that aren't in the top 3 yet and try to get them there.
