I will make this short warriors, is it practical to have a clickbank OTO in the IM Niche after someone opts into your squeeze page while building your list through PPC? What conversion rates on the immediate OTO can you expect with a decent squeeze page and affiliate sales page? at least 1 percent?

Hi I have several sites using ClickBank as an OTO after sign-up. It works very well because people can just promote straight away without waiting for approval like through DigiResults or JVZoo. Obviously conversions will completely depend on where and how you promote your squeeze page. The best traffic are the ones who have just bought a product from yourself or someone else so having a banner on the download page of another product linking to your squeeze page + OTO bumps up the conversions.

To get a 1% conversion on your OTO, you must have 100 people sign up to your squeeze page to see your offer. Therefore if you send 200 people to your squeeze page, you'll need a 50% conversion on that before you can get exposure to your offer. This is the only dilemma - because now your squeeze page is the bottleneck. A way around this is to have an exit pop-up on your offer page, pointing back to your squeeze page

Both methods work - I make money doing both. Just depends on your marketing strategy.

Thanks for your input, well my traffic source is bing ppc, so with a good campaign and a nice squeeze page to redirect to the OTO after an opt in I should see results on a 67 dollar product rather quickly I hope, and even then I'll most likely have good leads.

Clickbank can work for all the reasons mentioned above.

But make sure it is a valuable supporting product to your original offer.
Also be careful with the price. Those signing up to your free offer may only be tempted into low end sales initially.

So you need a genuinely supporting product at an acceptable entrance fee.

Then you can build your follow up accordingly.
