My blog is still not indexed

Have you tried social bookmarking? I usually get bloggers indexed with minimal social bookmarking within 2-3 hours , self hosted wordpress usually takes 5-8 hours to get indexed ..
Try submitting a sitemap to google , yahoo and msn , social bookmark few pages of your blog , and submit the rss feed to several feed aggregators and your blog will be indexed in no time.

I'm a no blogger expert so I'm not sure whether there is a built in function to auto-create sitemaps for ya compared to the wordpress plugins , but you can always create a manual sitemap , you can put the main blog url as well as the permalink for the post currently in your blog.

I normally get indexed by Google within hours by submitting it to Digg alone. Just put it through some big Social Bookmarking sites such as Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon. It also brings nice traffic

I've noticed that blogspot blogs behave differently from tld domain names. But just continue building links. Network with other blogs, and do some article submission. It'll be indexed soon enough. Some blogs I've owned with blogspot took 2-3 months to get ranked. So Jenie is right...be patient

Go to your blog settings and make sure that you have it set to be indexed by the search engines. They have an option that you can keep it from being indexed. Also I have noticed that Blogger / blogspot seem to be slow at indexing. That is just my experience though.

Post it here. It should be indexed by google in a day.

I had a site for my wife. It was a prepackaged article
site. 1000's of articles. But I did not know that all
that stuff was bad news to google. After 3 years, it
still was not indexed by google, even though I had linked
on all my sites and all over. As of last month, it still had
a PR of n/a. It took about 2 weeks, but I deleted all articles
and turned it into a blog. It's now indexed by google and
I am just waiting for the PR to go up. It even had a
fantastic domain name.

If your site does not get indexed by google after a very
short time, and you have a link on this forum or elsewhere
that is indexed, then there is something wrong to google.

Post the blog here, it should get picked up within hours.
Consisting posting pays off!

A week isn't that long, I've heard of sites not being indexed for over a month.

Don't build too many backlinks at the moment though, a few are alright and a good way to get indexed but too many too soon will damage you. Good luck.

You have a decent amount of backlinks, so i don't expect it to take long for your blog to get index but you can use hubpages and link back to your site.

there is a simple answer to this...

go to msn and do a search for your blog. It will show taht it is not listed. at the bottom of the page there is a link that says "send the address to us". Enter the address and press send. It will be indexed in about 24-48 hours.

The resaon being is that msn index all their new sites every 24 hrs or so, while google does not. But google does spider MSN every few hours. So it will pick up the new blog then.

This is the simpliest way, forget going to submission places, really just go and do this.

I have same kind of broblem. I made a social network in Ning and it have been running now 3 moths and it's still not indexed. Every blog i have made is been indexed in couple weeks.
Does anyone else have expirience about Ning?

But I want to ask you a blogger questions.When I posted next post, I've noticed that when I type my blog name, I see my second post.I want when someone type my blog name to see my first post.How can I do that?You can see my blog in my signature.Help please.Can i delete my first post and to create a page on blogger or what to do?

And what do you thing about that:When I create a new post at the end I'll put a link to my fist blog with my main keyword.Is it a good idea?Should I change the anchor to be naturally?

Hi John i suggest you to build internal link on your blog.

Create more articles that related with your first post and the words in your new articles that become keyword for your first post must be link to your first post. do this method for your other articles.

And don't forget to bookmark every your new articles. i had been doing this method and the result 90% of my page is getting index in first page google with the keywords that i targeted.
