Today I could not believe it. Page Rank add-on on Firefox was showing little green bar. I just hovered over it and noticed that my website is PR-2 now. It was PR-0 just 24 hours ago. Domain Authority is also building up. Root Domain Authority is 32 now......

Don't mean to be a party pooper, but how is your site ranking? PR is good, but rankings are better.

A lot of people focus purely on creating backlinks and boosting their PR without focusing on proper content optimization + on-page SEO. Just make sure you're not ignoring your content in addition to creating backlinks.

Thats precisely what I was thinking.

In 90 days (my site is also 3 months old) my site went from prna to pr1.

Now, thats not as big of an increase as him, but I am ranking for 12 different keywords, between pages 2-5. So tbpo, I don't honestly care about my pr. Considering that my top 2 competitors, have prna websites, and are ranking in position 1 and 2. I noticed 1 thing about their backlink profiles, all their links are prNA. So I made it a goal to get a lesser amount of contextual pr3-5 backlinks.

By month 6, I plan on having a lot of those keywords on page 1.

I have one site that all it has on it is the default hosting page

    "Welcome to your Hosting Package"

    It just got PR1

How did that happen. Looking at that is PR useless?

Not bad. My sites are around 2 and 4 PR, but no changes so far.

Congratulations that is a good jump!

I noticed that my websites with homepages that have images and less content rank as PR1 when the inner pages with tons of content is PR 2-3 (wonder if that has something to do with PR)

Well it's not hard to reach that PR2. Doesn't matter a fact, it's very easy. To reach PR 4 or higher is a way different story.

My website, Photo-Artful, received a PR2 bump as well. I've done SOME backlinking, but I don't think I've done enough for that much attention. I've placed some of my blog posts on StumbleUpon and Reddit, plus I've setup my sites to randomly post previous blog posts on Twitter--and gained relevant followers. I've done major backlinking before, but for this site I focused on other promotional methods--social mostly, but plan on trying paid advertisements and professional press releases. Also did some linking on relevant sites found on Fiverr, but no effect as far as I can tell.
