My Problem With Expired Domains ....

I'd like to use expired/aged domains from godaddy for me seo sites, however i see the following problem:

I buy pr2+, 2+ years old, 100+ links, link profile clean in majestic and ahrefs, indexed in google. The problem is that the domains don't even rank for their unique domain name. For example: domain mynewexpdom.com doesn't rank for kw mynewexpdom. Is this a problem ? When i rebuild the site under that domain will it regain strength ?

I have purchased a few expired domains in the past and they have lost their pr however the good thing is... The backlinks acquired by the previous owners were still in tact which resulted in an instant supply of traffic.

The PR will come back after 1-2 months, and if you do good on-site SEO it will eventually rank.

Sorry, only interested in PR10 domains, but I'm sure you've got one of those too.

When a godaddy domain has expired - the default godaddy page shows up at the domain. This gets indexed by google and therefore if the domain was ranking for its keywords - it would probably stop ranking after this. When you buy the domain and setup new content on it, it would start ranking again - as long as the PR stays (i.e. its not a scam domain) - and you have good content - this would take time - but it does happen.
