Another seo question (i am sorry)

hi, me again.

I can't find a EMD on one of my new projects but there is something very close to it:

(example):
keyword > detox treatment centers

Now EMD is taken.. but detoxtreamentscenters.com is free

My question is.. will that "S" matter a lot in SEO en serps?

    detoxtreatmentcentersworld.com
    bestdetoxtreatmentcenters.com

    Never apologize for asking questions, knowledge is good

    Having an extra letter may give u a little less "ranking value" than an EMD. But i have found google has dialed down EMD's a little bit lately. So in the grand scheme of things, it does not matter than much that it is not an EMD.

    You could also try other domain extensions.

      dialed down a bit? EMDs are worth near jack all now. Rather get a brandable or catchy domain name than a long winded EMD.

    I wouldn't worry about whether you have an EMD or not if you plan on turning it into a real business. In fact it would probably be better to go with a more brandable term. Whereas if you only want to do some posting and a little linking in the hopes of making some money, the EMD really won't do squat for you. Just my two cents based on the latest observations.

      A good question is a half way to SUCCESS, ! the more you ask questions the more you'll get INFORMATIONS ! and INFORMATIONS are sold in the Internet Marketing WORLD; So whenever you have opportunity to get free Informations just capture it
      And i dont think the "S" will affect your SEO !

        Exactly, there's nothing wrong with asking questions, that is the purpose of this forum.

        Anyway, I don't believe that the additional "s" will affect it, as long as you stick to your desired keyword. Once you have your blog set-up, make sure that your content is populated with the appropriate number of keywords. Also, in your SEO plug-in (in case you're using one), make sure to use your keyword on it. But, perhaps it is also prudent to check other domain extensions first before changing the domain name.
