Youtube Ranking Question. Need Answers?

I uploaded a video for a product launch that will
be taking place in the next 4 days.

Now my video is ranked number 1 on youtube search
for the product keyword, and on Google Search videos

But when I use the normal Google web search,
my video is nowhere to be found.

What is happening? What can I do to get it
displayed on the first page of Google search
instead of others.

I will appreciate if I can get tips

Thanks in advance

    Hi dessytall1,

That must be real disappointing. From my own experience, whether the video shows on Google's regular search as well as #1 on YouTube hinges on how competitive the keyword is.

So you'll need to do some of the regular SEO techniques, such as back linking to help boost your Google position.

If you have a program like Market Samurai, that can be a great help in determining how strong your competition is in the crucial top section of page one on Google's regular search.

Of course it may be that, when your launch goes live, the number of views it will get will help a great deal. But I don't recommend buying views, because this could get your YouTube account closed.

    Warmest regards,

    Paul

If you want to stack the copywriting deck in your favor with tricks and hacks producing winners like: "$20K in three days" "650 sold" "30% conversion", then you might like to know I'm retiring and will spill the beans to two people. More info here.

How many views and likes did your video receive? I think the more popular and viral your video is, the more likely it will appear on google search!

Back-linking can help a video get ranked but it's not really important, unless it's a high pr home page link. The most important thing for Google and YouTube is organic views. I recommend that you get more views to the videos by submitting it into a view exchange, or you can buy views on fiverr.

Just out of curiosity what keyword are you going for?

Ps. Sometimes you just got to be patent.

Use vagex.com to buy views and buy comments also. It helps if the viewers watch 75% of the video instead of only a few seconds.

Whatever youtube video you're trying to rank, remember that Google bases it's rankings off of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), not video search engine optimization (VSEO).

So in order to rank a youtube video, you need to use SEO techniques. Targeting certain keywords can be done by using your desired keyword in your youtube title, description (at least 300-500 words long) and last but not least..uploading a .txt or .doc transcription file to your video.

This way google can detect what's actually being said in your video and will thus give you a better SEO ranking.

Backlinking is a completely different story. For the most part, YouTube is already an established high PR (page rank) website and a lot of backlinking isn't necessary unless you're going for a highly competitive keyword.

If you submitted you video to digg, stumble upon, and reddit..those are always great places to start. Any additional backlinking would require hiring someone or doing some mass article submissions with a link back to you youtube video with the anchor text in the link. Rotating long tail keywords are always best to use as well since you don't want to just over spam your main keyword.

    Hope this helps! Good luck

er...no...don't do this unless you want your account removed permanently.
The forthcoming changes in YouTube will see any video that bought comments, likes or views instantly removed along with the account.
Breaking their terms of service is not the answer.
Producing quality videos which give value and are fully optimized is.
