posting something on your blog and then posting the same content to OTHER sites is called syndication. when you have the same content on the same domain...that's what it referred to as being duplication. more on that here: duplicate content penalty

Content syndication is about distribution of an article from one’s site or blog to other sites and building inbound links with these articles. Usually content is syndicated via an RSS feed, which provides site’s users with updates, news etc. but if you want to distribute the content just to 3-5 blogs, the manual submission will also do.

The links created via syndication are indexed fast by search engines. However, a tricky thing about syndicate content is that sometimes the syndicated copy is displayed in search results, while the original article is not, and thus the site you distributed the article to may outrank you for the same content. To avoid this just make sure that the original article will get indexed prior you start with distribution and that your original content' URL has “rel=canonical” attribute.

Also, you may insist on partners linking back to your original site, like “this article was originally posted on A blog under B title” which proves that the content has not been duplicated, but republished with permission.

Firstly thanks Sclark for your suggestion , now i want to confirm one thing that if i have published one content on 5 different blog websites then the first blog on which i have posted the content is considered as original.

To avoid this just make sure that the original article will get indexed prior you start with distribution and that your original content' URL has “rel=canonical” attribute.
can you tell me one thing that what rel= cannonical used for ?

and the last one thing is that if i am publishing my own content to a different blog websites then do i have to change the title for same content posted in number of different blogs . Or is it linking back as you have mentioned above , is used when we are using the other person or webmaster content to publish in our own blog .

please put alight on my query so that i can make the best to my seo knowledge and efforts .
