How Can I Increase My Google Places/Plus CTR? (noones clicking to my site)

As basic as this question seems, its never been asked before in the history of the internet. I suppose because there is very little a business can actually do to increase their CTR on google plus.

But I did notice an interesting discussion about the former star rating system. And people said ever since the star rating system was taken out, many peoples CTR have plummeted on google plus. I'm not sure how true this is, because I only started using google plus more recently.

I logged into my google places account today and there are 161 impressions, but >>0<< click throughs to my website.

And this is concerning, because I have more positive reviews than any of my competitors. I would definitely have expected at least a couple clicks by now.

So then I began to look at my pictures, and noticed that I may be coming off the wrong way to people, merely because of 1 of my pictures. Since we do mold removal, I have a picture of a child in a room full of mold, covering her face up. But the picture was photoshopped. I'm curious if people may be looking at the picture and thinking "are these guys evil assholes?"

So let me ask you folks. If you needed mold removal on your home, went to the google places listing with most reviews, then saw this picture, would it rub you the wrong way?

We also have a happy picture of a child and their family, but I think we might be coming off the wrong way. I can get away with using this picture in my youtube videos, because its a video and I can actually sell myself in the video, but I feel like it might be a bad idea for GP.

ps. Maybe its normal for people not to click through? We have recieved 2 calls, but I still figured I'd ask. Normally if we get 100-200 views on our YT channel, we always get a few emails or calls. So right now, YT is converting better than GP.

I also realize I'm not getting enough traffic to really test, but I still want your opinions on the picture and whether I should remove it.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to rank your own webpage?

As far as photos, a before/after would give a better impression (IMO), a nasty mold photo doesn't give the impression we remove mold, a before/after image does.
