Hey guys,

Just wondering if you could help me. I'm looking to do some research on buying PR3+ sites and was wondering if you guys can give me the low-down on this area of IM.

Essentially, I am looking for the following information (below), and if there is information that you feel will be insightful then please do post that up too. I am curious as to:

1. What are the actual (ie. measurable) benefits of buying high PR sites.

2. Where are the best places to buy these sites and what is the going rate for each PR.

3. What is the minimum PR you would go for? If dependant on rates ("bargain deals") then maybe provide example of "bargain" rate?

4. What is the best use for these high PR sites once you have purchased them? What should you NOT use them for?

5. What should you keep an eye out for? what are the pitfalls and how can you check etc?

6. Any other tips and tricks?

7. Anything else we should be know and/or keep in mind?

The reason I am asking is because responses to the information above change all the time and is often subjective.

Thanks!

    1. If you have quality PR3 site with some decent content you can easily sell it to someone else for $100 - $150. You can also add this to your private network.

You can also sell links on it, $5/month.

    2. The best place to buy such domains is digitalpoint forum.. You can also lurk around the flippa, you might found something from there as well..Or you can also try expireddomains.net to pick up expired/deleted domains.

    Rates are probably this:
    PR3 $50 - $150
    PR4 $150 - $250
    etc...

    3. The minimum PR i would get is PR3. However, if I'm able to get PR2 for $10 I would probably go for that aswell..

    4. sell links, use as blog network or whatever you like

    5. Check the backlinks from ahrefs.com and opensiteexplorer.com. Make sure they are legit, they are still available and they come from decent sites... If you find loads of blog comments or forum profiles or some other "fishy" links, simply move one..

For conclusion, checking backlinks is the most important thing to find quality PR3+ sites. hope that helps.

I don't think selling a PR3 site is a good idea, when you can make it grow more. Selling contextual links on your site is a good idea.
