Looking to increase backlinks for free - Any Ideas?

Hi,

I have three sites - one I own and two of my clients'. I am looking forward to get good back links to increase the Page Rank and popularity.

The sites are:

The Sattire Magazine (I own it)
whdi-reviews.com
solar-panel-reviews.org

Could you tell me ways to increase backlinks? The backlinks have to be of course, good ones. I do not have much budget so free ways will be better! As far as my website is concerned, I did not get much time to devote to it till now but am looking to turn on the heat now.

    - Leave comments with your URL on related blogs.
    - Sign up for Yahoo answers and leave source URL
    - Write some articles and press releases about your website

    Those are some of the best ways to get free backlinks. You want dofollow contextual backlinks to your site that's why articles and guest blogs hold the most value.

    Most of the ways are free...... these are blog commenting, forum posting, directory, web 2.0, what you need to do is to do with quality. And you have to do it slowly.

    everything you can do with a tool, you can do for free, aside from paid submissions like pr's and private networks.

    Don't forget social networking... post on FaceBook and Twitter. The websites that we have setup with social networking, normally see at least a 15% increase in traffic over non-social networking sites.
