Hey there,

I've been wandering through these forums for quite a time now and I must say that the information is INVALUABLE!!!

I was first skeptical about revealing this well kept secret here but then I thought its nothing as compared to what I've got.

My first thought was to make it a $1 WSO, then I had an idea to make it an opt-in one... But much to your benefit, I would rather have this nifty be given away here.

PLEASE DON'T SPAM OR POST AFFILIATE LINKS
Personally, I believe that people here are not DUMB to SPAM a little website which is actually a good cause!

Simply post your website below:
Fullsize : A New IMG Tag Attribute

I'd advise not to use an ANCHOR text or spammy keywords with direct affiliate links.

HOPE This Helps Someone!

I don't think anyone is ignoring your 'cry'. You only posted your question 20 minutes ago, and you need to give the OP a chance to reply.

I'll answer your question. The page the OP gave the link to is a page where you can enter your "vote". It's a PR3 page. Once your vost and URL are added, you have a link on that page. Make sense?

In my opinion, link farm is something where blackhatters have tons of (auto)blogs hosted on different c-class IPs and linked to each other and to other web 2.0 web profiles etc. to gain boost in SERPs...

But then, I might be wrong!

Essentially the more links are added to this page, the less each link is worth?

    Am I wrong?
    You are dead right.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw that page. The PR will disappear very quickly with all those links on that page.

Not trying to argue ... just asking.

So if the NY Times puts up a news story, and lets people Comment and makes the links DoFollow and ... 5,000 people comment on it - does that diminish NYT's PR Juice?

The G robot will 'weight' the webpage (NOT website) based on the site's backlinks, content, unique visitors, site authority (NYT is an authority site, this little PR3 web site/page is not), quality/nature of site traffic (not from some free traffic exchange sites like the Trafficswamp, etc.)...and so on.

        Just my 2 cents, mate..

No, it doesn't. Links on a page do not affect the PR of that page.

links on a page do not affect the PR of that page. The only way a page can lose PR is if the variables change, ie - the quality, strenght or number of links, internally and externally that point to the page.

BUT, the more links you have on a PR3 page, the less juice each of those links will get from the PR3 page. For example, you would get more juice from a PR3 page if there were only 10 other outbound links on there compared to having 60 links on there.

That is why it's always best to look for pages or blog posts that have fewer comments / links on. Although, many other links could follow after adding your link.

It's one big rat race... lol :-)

According to some folks, Google will "notice" this and "penalize" it because (according to them)... heck, if that many people are getting a link from the same site it MUST be for SEO purposes...and that'll be the end of backlink power forever.

    Hey everyone, I'm the OP

I personally thought it was quite easy to figure out where and how to add your link.

    So here goes my explanation:

AddFullSize is a community devoted to a plugin which in my opinion is absolutely wonderful!

When you add your link, it means that you cast a vote "in support of" this plugin.

I would personally suggest you to atleast give a try to the plugin and I'm pretty sure that you will like it.

    P.S. Its not my site.

Anyways, below is how to add your link:

    - First visit Fullsize : A New IMG Tag Attribute

    - The scroll down near the bottom, you'll see something like this:

    - Its clearly written that you need to enter your website/name/the captcha.

    - Hooray! You've a backlink from a PR3 page.

Anyways, its great to see that I've got more than 100 new supporters to this funky neat plugin in a matter of days.

Again, I would suggest you not to spam with affiliate links and long tail keywords/anchor texts etc.

    ENJOY!
    - Lokesh Sharma

Yeah, isn't it funny? The Page Rank of the site went UP after all those people put a link there. It doesn't seem to have lost "link juice" like so many people claim will happen after 2 links are left on the same page.

the page won't "lose" juice as more links are added. it just won't pass as much juice to each link. understand?

and it's gaining PR because of links pointing to it. PR is a measure of inbound links (links pointing to a site) not outbound links (links a page/site is pointing to) make sense?

While that's probably true (and I didn't mean to imply that it did), it also didn't go DOWN because of it. Look at all the links at the bottom of that page. With all that, the page STILL went up in Page Rank. So much for "bleeding" or "washing" out Page Rank .

PageRank is a function of the overall "link value" coming to a page, and has nothing to do with outbound links.

The "link juice" or PR value that a page passes to it's outbound links is a function of that page's value divided among it's outbound links.

I became a supporter as well

Hehe, looks like when too many of us become supporters of a site, they become NoFollow.

By the way, as far as I'm aware, the PR figure itself is not affected by the number of links on a page, but the amount of PR juice that is passed to YOUR site IS affected.

In other words, a ranking page with two outbound links will pass more juice than a page with 30. Google divides the PR juice between the outbound links.

But this has no effect on the PR of the page with the links, only the PR of your page which is linked from it.

Obviously, NoFollow won't pass PR juice at all, but there may still be other benefits of having the link there. As someone else pointed out, it's still a backlink, with your anchor keywords if that's what you used.
