Lifetime earnings vs Payable earnings what is the difference?

My lifetime earnings are way over my threshold.
My 'Payable earnings' on the adsense landing page are half of my lifetime
What gives?
eg, I have 40 in my 'Payable earnings' and 80 shows in my lifetime earnings.
Does that mean google has discredited 20 of my earnings?
I should be paid when i reached over 60
Any explanation to what's happened? This is a 50% discrepancy!
