I'm using Scrapebox but not in the traditional sense. I'm using it to find blog or sites relevant to my niche which is weddings and filtering out all the low pr blogs and manually writing comments that have to do with the URL. Any input ??

Plenty of people do that. Personally, I never do blog comments for a real business. Whether they are manual or not, I think it looks too spammy for a real business.

So u don't do "any" niche relevant blog comments as part of ur seo strategy ??
Do you do article submissions, press releases, create unique content on high pr sites?
I try and do all of these things and its been working pretty well. I just don't have a large blog network where I can post my content on. Besides using social sites and Web 2.0 sites with tier 2 links what do you find works for ur clients??

Not for my client's sites I don't. That is spammy garbage. Now if I have an attorney client, and someone is asking a legal question on eHow or somewhere like that, I'll notify my client and ask them to post a response. That is very rare, and only reserved for sites of that quality.

I in no way seek out "niche relevant" blogs for dropping comments. I just think it looks really shitty for the business. Real reputable businesses are not doing blog comments for backlinks.

I do some of that stuff. Really no article submissions. That is mostly just trash to me too.

Press releases I only do when the client has something worthy of a press release. Too many "SEOs" use press release sites like additional article directories. That is just dumb and short-sighted.

As for a "blog network"... I don't have one. I have a private network of sites, but these are not what people think of when they hear the term "blog network". They are real viable sites that can stand on their own which just happen to link to a few sites belonging to clients.
